Switzerland Imposes Sanctions Against Lukashenka Regime

The flagships of the junta's economy fell under restrictive measures.

Switzerland has joined the latest EU sanctions package against the Belarusian regime. The new sanctions list is published on the website of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland.

The list includes 38 individuals - judges, prosecutors and propagandists, as well as three enterprises - the Belneftekhim Concern, OJSC BSW Management Company of BMC Holding, and OJSC Minsk Electrotechnical Plant.

The sanctions took effect on August 15.
