Boryslav Bereza: I Can Offer Two Options For Russians In Crimea

  • 19.07.2023, 12:34

What we see is the implementation of General Zaluzhny's strategy.

In the Crimea, near the village of Krynychky, the largest Russian ammunition depot is on fire and explodes. Earlier, a blow was struck on the Crimean bridge and the bay in Sevastopol. Is there any pattern in the events on the occupied peninsula? The website Charter97.org talked about this with Ukrainian political figure, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Boryslav Bereza.

— There is a pattern, of course. There is a huge amount of shells in the Crimea, which are used for transportation to the Zaporizhzhia or Kherson directions. The destruction of these ammo depots secures shell hunger for the Russians.

What we see is the implementation of the strategy chosen by General Zaluzhny and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

We see that a fairly strong blow is dealt to the moral component of the Russians. They see “big bangs” raging under their noses and, as they say, “pops with smoke”. Sometimes, however, experts say that this is the “lens effect” or some other names, instead of honestly saying that these are attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on ammunition depots or equipment.

Shells detonate non-stop, explosions go on constantly, the occupying authorities are even forced to resettle people from this place. Accordingly, the work of reconnaissance and the implementation of the strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were well carried out.

— Will Crimea become a trap for Russians?

— The Crimea will become Ukrainian, Russians should not remain on the peninsula. I want to draw your attention to the fact that before February 20, 2014, nothing like this had ever happened in the Crimea. It was only after the Russians took it over that such things began to happen there. Previously, there were no explosions on the peninsula.

When the last Russian disappears from the Crimea, you will see that peace and order will be restored there, and Ukraine will begin to govern this territory normally, and not in the way it is happening now under Russia.

— What would you advise the Russians who are now in the Crimea?

— I would advise two things to the Russians. The first is to take care of their lives and leave Crimea. This is the best option for them. The second option is that, if you do not want to listen to advice, then get a good place in the cemetery, you will need it.
