"Being in barrier troops and sending Russians into meat assaults, they felt they were the masters of the Russian Federation, but the things have changed. The Ukrainian defence forces have taken the town under fire control and the denouement is not far from coming," the partisans noted.
On the eve Kadyrov said that Akhmat was allegedly redeployed to the Bakhmut direction in the region of Kleshcheyivka.
"Akhmat special forces under the command of Apta Alaudinov have been redeployed by the "special operation" command to the difficult Bakhmut direction. Such a rotation speaks of the confidence of the General Staff and the high combat effectiveness of the unit," Kadyrov said.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Defence Ministry said that the Ukrainian military had taken under control the main dominant heights around Bakhmut and were keeping under fire control the enemy's entrances, exits and moves around the town.
