Units of the Ukrainian army cleared the Russian bridgehead on the western bank of the Seversky Donets-Donbas canal, developing a successful counter-offensive operation.

This is reported by news agencies with a reference to the statement of the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky. In his Telegram channel, he said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a successful operation by the forces of the advanced detachments, which staged a rout of the third battalion of the 57th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation.

He published a fragment of a video of the battle and added that the Ukrainian military had done an excellent job. The marked section of the front is located in the immediate vicinity of Horlivka north of Donetsk.
