Lukashenka's law-enforcers released the Z-serviceman.
On the evening of June 17 in Ivatsevichy, the police detained a company of several drunken Russians in a car with the Z symbol. One of the men, as it turned out, was Russian serviceman Alexander Bykov. In our country, he may be on duty in a unit that is part of the regional Belarusian-Russian grouping of troops. As it turned out later, the company was detained for drunk driving and disobedience to police officers. The process of detention was filmed by an eyewitness, in the video the Russians loudly and repeatedly use foul language. Zerkalo found out where Alexander Bykov is now and whether he was punished.
In the schedule of hearings of the Ivatsevichy court, the name of the Russian Alexander Bykov did not appear on Monday. As they said in the office, where the journalist called, introducing herself as a relative of the military, no case materials were received regarding such a person. They advised her to contact the police department.
We called the department of internal affairs with the same legend, the head of the public security police Aliaksandr Shupenik picked up the phone.
— We are trying to find Alexander Leonidovich Bykov, he was detained by your officers in Ivatsevichy on June 17, he does not get in touch.
— He is in the military unit here, where he was.
— So he was not detained, you returned him back?
— Certainly. His commanders arrived, and took him to the military unit. Everything is fine, he’s alive and well. You can call his wife, she went home (probably, we are talking about a woman who was also with the company that day and got on the video — edit.)
— Will he not be tried? He was drunk there.
— No. He was fined, his wife paid the fine, and that was it.
— Was it a big fine, do you know?
— No, — the policeman replied, without specifying what exactly he meant. — Don't worry, everything is fine.
On June 17, in the parking lot near the Santa store, traffic police and riot police detained several Russians in a white crossover with a Z symbol on the rear window. Region 147 is visible on the numbers, it belongs to the Leningrad region.
The men were drunk, one of them called himself Alexander Leonidovich Bykov. This is a 41-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, in April 2023 he signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense for two years. After that, as an ordinary reserve, he was enrolled as a shooter in the battalion of the 283rd regiment of the 144th guards motorized rifle division. This unit is part of the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District.
It, in turn, is part of the regional Belarusian-Russian group of forces. Bykov's unit is located not far from Ivatsevichy, at the Obuz-Lesnovsky combined-arms training ground. There, after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, parts of the Russian component of the regional group are being trained. According to Kyiv, units from there return to Russia, and then go to war.
