(Updated) In the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, the “Interception” plan has been activated.
As Charter97.org website reported, today a military helicopter of the Russian army exploded in the air in Klintsy in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, 40 km from the border with Belarus.
The moment of the helicopter explosion in Klintsy was caught on video. Judging by the footage, the helicopter was most likely shot down in the air by a missile. After the explosion, the helicopter falls apart in the air.
According to Telegram channel 112, two helicopters could have crashed in the Bryansk region at once — one in Klintsy, the other one in the city of Starodub.
“There is no information about the victims and the causes of the disasters yet. Emergency services are sent to the site of the second helicopter crash in Starodub,” the resource writes.
A video of the alleged moment of the helicopter crash near Starodub is also published.
Later it became known that the Russian Su-34 combat jet also crashed in the Bryansk region. This is reported by TASS with a reference to emergency services.
Russian media reported that the “Interception” plan was introduced in the Bryansk region.
According to them, the region is looking for “saboteurs” who might be involved in the fall of the Mi-8 helicopters and the Su-34 aircraft. According to investigators, the helicopters and the plane could have been shot down from Russian territory.
Russian special services are checking information about another crashed plane in the Starodub district of the Bryansk region.
This could be another Su-34. Earlier it became known about the crashed Mi-8 helicopter and Su-34 aircraft.
“Thus, in total, 2 helicopters and 2 planes could have crashed,” the Baza Telegram channel sums up.
