She tried to fly to Tel Aviv.

The deputy head of the Moldovan pro-Russian Shor party, Marina Tauber, was detained at the Chisinau international airport on Monday, May 1, on her way to Tel Aviv. This was reported by Poind.md.

The detention was carried out following an order from the Prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of Moldova. Marina Tauber is suspected of forging the party's financial reports and involvement in the scheme to illegally finance the party leader Ilan Shor by a "criminal group".

On April 28, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office asked the judge to change the measure of restraint from conditional release to pre-trial detention because Tauber had violated the conditions of restraint. On April 29, Tauber requested a postponement of the court hearing so that she could travel to Israel. Given that the defendant had already violated the conditions imposed by the judges several times, the prosecutor's office considered it necessary to detain her at the airport because there was a considerable risk that she would hide from the criminal investigation authority.
