Roman Svitan: AFU To Destroy Military Facilities In Five Russian Regions During Counteroffensive

  • 9.04.2023, 20:14

Bases of the enemy will be destroyed in the border regions.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces will strike military facilities in the territory of the Russian occupying state during their counter-offensive operation. Enemy bases will be destroyed in Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Voronezh and Rostov regions. Destruction of enemy facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation will be carried out exclusively with domestic weapons. This was stated by Colonel of the AFU reserve, military expert Roman Svitan.

In an interview with Orestokratiya, he said that Russia's military facilities in the regions bordering Ukraine were already being destroyed and this dynamic would continue.

"The five regions that are being attacked now are Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Voronezh and Rostov regions. These five regions border Ukraine. The depth is several hundred kilometres. Military facilities in these regions have already been shelled and we will continue to destroy them," Svitan believes.

According to him, crushing strikes on military bases in Russia will be carried out exclusively with Ukrainian weapons.

"We have means of destruction that can and do reach the Russians on Russian territory as well. There is already a recent video showing us working on a military convoy on Russian territory with the permission of the General Staff. Definitely, we will work and are working on these military bases once we receive from our Ukroboronprom orders to work on Russia," the expert added.

He also drew attention to the fact that the West does not allow Ukraine to use its weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation in order to avoid legal claims from Moscow in the future.

"They do not want to get involved in any legal proceedings which Russia might raise. In order to avoid such claims from Russia, they ask us to use the weapons they transfer only on our territory. We have used, are using and will continue to use our weapons manufactured by our company Ukroboronprom," Roman Svitan stressed.
