Lukashists Start Call-Up Of Persons Liable For Military Service In Minsk

Conscription of people liable for military service into "training camp" has been started in Minsk. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense on March 15.

The ministry stressed that the events are held to "restore and improve practical skills in military registration specialties."

"A number of measures have been taken so far. We are ready to send conscripts to the 7th engineer regiment and the 120th separate mechanized brigade," said Colonel Yauhen Bratskou, the military commissioner of Kastrychnitsky district.

He noted that the activities are planned for up to 35 days. After this period, the citizens will return to the military registration and enlistment office with supporting documents that will be provided at the place of demand.

As Charter97.org reported, on March 10, Lukashenka signed a decree on the conscription of reserve officers for military service.
