In Recent days, more than 30 people have been checked in Homiel for assistance to extremist groups. Zerkalo reports with reference to a Telegram channel close to the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption (GUBOPiK).

Pro-regime sources clarified that the security forces "revealed the connections of foreign members of extremist groups and brought more than twenty people to justice" during the raid.

A Telegram channel close to the GUBOPiK published photos and "repentance" short videos with the participation of the detainees. They were threatened with liability "in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus".
