El Murid: Attack On Machulischy Is Extraordinary Event

Military logic involves Belarus in the course of hostilities.

Well-known Russian blogger El Murid comments on the drone attack against the Belarusian airfield in Machulishchy on Telegram:

“In general, Belarus is perceived as an ally of Russia, so the military logic gradually leads to its inclusion in the ongoing hostilities.

For all the ambiguity with the incident in Machulishchy, new information comes that the damaged aircraft may be an A-50 early warning and control aircraft. In total, there are about a dozen of them in service, so the event is not ordinary.”

As the Charter97.org website wrote, several explosions rocked the Machulishchi military airfield located near Minsk on February 26. Telegram channels write that at 9 a.m., drones attacked a Russian A-50 early warning and control aircraft.

Because of two explosions, the front and central parts of the aircraft were damaged: aircraft electronics and a radar scanner. Belarusian partisans have so far claimed responsibility for the attack on the airbase.
