"Black Zaporizhzhia Cossacks" showed the destruction of enemy equipment on video.

Soldiers of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the "Black Zaporizhzhia Cossacks" hit one of the newest modifications of the occupants' Basurmanin infantry fighting vehicle near Vuhledar, Donetsk region. This BMP became part of the Russian army before the full-scale war.

The defenders also destroyed several other such vehicles and tanks of the Russian Armed Forces. Footage of the destruction of enemy equipment was shared on the Facebook page of the 72nd SMBr.

It is noted that during the battle in the Vuhledar direction, the military from the aggressor country used its main battle tanks T-80BV. The occupiers also attempted to attack with BMP-1AM Basurmanin.

Following modification at Russian factories, this armoured vehicle received a 30mm 2A72 gun with a combined sight, as well as a 7.62mm PKTM machine gun and a 902V "Tucha" system.

However, the upgraded equipment of the invaders could not withstand the fire of the AFU soldiers. "Black Zaporizhzhia Cossacks" from the 72nd SMBr set on fire two Russian T-80BV tanks, "Basurmanin" and turned another enemy armoured vehicle into scrap metal. Judging by the footage, several Russian soldiers also "fell asleep" in the field near Vuhledar for good.

"Our modest contribution to the statistics of demilitarisation of the horde," the brigade pointed out.
