According to Ukrainian intelligence officers, about 80 Russian military men were stationed in one of the hangars.
Ukrainian artillerymen incinerated five hangars with equipment, ammunition and manpower of the Russian occupying troops in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region.
Scouts of the Banderlog SOF unit told the details of the destruction of a large position of Russian war criminals, the RIA Melitopol Telegram channel reports.
On Wednesday, February 15, the invaders had a "hot" night in the Zaporizhzhia direction. In the Hulyai-Polye region, a barracks was on fire, where about 80 Russian soldiers were stationed, as well as enemy tanks and armored personnel carriers.
The invaders unsuccessfully hid their equipment in five hangars in the village of Novozlatopol. In addition, the enemy stored their ammunition, and placed military equipment between them, which ensured a powerful long-term detonation and maximum destruction of military vehicles. It rattled for about 40 minutes. After powerful explosions, everything was blazing with fire.
It is noted that the "fat" target was found by scouts of the Banderlog MTR unit, and the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine promptly delivered a filigree strike. According to scouts, about 80 Russian military men lived in one of the hangars.
The number of dead and wounded has not yet been disclosed. Among the destroyed equipment were armored personnel carriers, a passenger car and a KUNG (a kind of Soviet-era closed body van).
