Humiliated with a harsh statement.
On Saturday, December 30, Russia initiated an urgent meeting at the UN Security Council because of the shelling of Belgorod where Russian air defence caused the death of residents. The Russian Federation demanded that a representative of the Czech Republic be present at the meeting, but the occupiers were put in line.
First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky wanted the Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic "to explain the supply of ammunition by his country, which kills civilians." He made this statement after the Russian Defence Ministry said that the Ukrainian Defence Forces used "two Vilkha missiles with prohibited cluster munitions" and Czech-made Vampire MLRS shells to strike Belgorod.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský on X reacted to the accusations of the Russian Federation.
He noted that the Czech Republic refuses to be summoned anywhere by Russia.
"Czechia will not serve the lie-poisoned propaganda of the aggressor," the Foreign Minister said.
Lipavský added that the permanent representative of the Czech Republic would be happy to come to the meeting of the UN Security Council when Russia wants to discuss the withdrawal of its occupation troops from the territory of Ukraine.
