Zaluzhny Defends Classified Dissertation

The Commander-in-Chief of the AFU received a scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

AFU Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny defended a dissertation on a special topic that constitutes a state secret in the sphere of defence, state security and protection of law and order. This is evidenced by the data on the website of the information system of the National Agency for ensuring the quality of higher education.

The work was written at the National University of "Odesa Law Academy" on the educational programme of "Law".

Having defended the thesis, Zaluzhny received a scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

Although the topic and the work of the commander-in-chief is classified, its key words have been published. The dissertation is related to discipline, particularly military and service discipline, as well as disciplinary offences, penalties, moral and psychological support, combat immunity, military justice and the AFU Disciplinary Regulations.

During the year, Zaluzhny made six publications on the topic of his dissertation in Ukrainian publications.
