A Belarusian spoke about an interesting school chat communication.

A teacher’s post has appeared in our Minsk school chat, writes Charter97.org reader Volha. I really liked every single word in it, so I want to present it in full, without changes or corrections.

“Hello, dear parents. I’m addressing you with an unusual question. We are the only class with only 4 Little Octobrist students. The administration is asking for at least a few more children. Please, if anyone can, who doesn’t really mind, text me a private message.”

I read it and rejoiced at how lucky my son is studying in such a class with the children of sane parents. I’m proud of every family! I greatly respect our teacher, who does not threaten, blackmail, or put pressure, but addresses parents correctly.

Well, this “Who doesn’t really mind.” Here it is, an indicator of love for the Soviet things, for the Lukashist. We are not talking about friendliness and support, but only about someone who can take part in this dirty trick not for the sake of activity or the sake of support, but only out of respect for the teacher, who is under the pressure of the administration, and who enjoys great love and respect from the parents.

Well, the request for such shame as joining the Little Octobrists ranks is written personally, so as not to blush in the school corridor and make excuses in front of the entire class.

The parent comments under the post were also very pleasing: we thank our class that we only have three Little Octobrists, and we are proud of our class. And only one mother of the secret Little Octobrist said: “They say, this is just a formality!”

Imagine that even those who support this ideology do not take this seriously. They want to be left alone. Here it is, the people's love for dictatorship!
