Lukashists Launch Raid In Rechytsa

Security forces launched a raid in Rechytsa and the Rechytsa district. Pavel Kulazhenka, who was expelled from the bar last year, was arrested during the raid, writes the Viasna Human Rights Center.

“Repentant videos” of the detainees were published by a Telegram channel close to the GUBOPiK [the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption - En.]. Human rights activists identified Pavel Kulazhenka in the video. The man was forced to say on camera that he was arrested on suspicion of “distributing extremist content.”

In September 2022, the Ministry of Justice did not certify Kulazhenka and decided that he could not fulfil his professional duties.
