Russia Hits Historic Part Of Odesa With Onyx Missile

On Sunday evening, 5 November, the Russian occupiers attacked the Odesa region of Ukraine. The attacks damaged residential buildings, the building of the Art Museum and port infrastructure. There were also wounded, writes Glavred.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the Russian occupiers had fired a missile in the direction of Odesa. Then there was information that 'shahids' were flying from the Black Sea towards the regional centre.
The head of the Odesa OVA, Oleh Kiper, said that five people were injured as a result of a night attack by the Russian occupiers on Odesa.
The injured suffered shrapnel wounds. All are hospitalised, medics provide all the necessary assistance.
As a result of the attack, windows in residential buildings were blown out. According to Mayor Gennady Trukhanov, the district administration will work in the morning to help people whose houses were damaged by the Russian attack.
In other news, the Odesa Museum of Art has been badly damaged by Russian Onyx missile strikes. The walls of the building were damaged and some windows shattered. The mayor of the city said that all the museum's exhibits had been spared.
"On 6 November the Odesa National Art Museum will be 124 years old. On the night of 6 November, Russian scum 'congratulated' our architectural monument with a rocket that landed nearby," Kiper wrote on Telegram
He says work is underway to assess and repair the damage to the UNESCO World Heritage site.
