The occupier also demonstrated a Nazi salute.

A captured Russian military officer has claimed he has family ties to Adolf Hitler.

This is the claim of a captive occupier from the "storm-z" unit, who gave his name as Boris Koch, born in 1991.

To make his claim more believable, the occupier showed a Nazi salute.

The video of the captured occupant was made public in the "Operative AFU" Telegram channel.

"I had aunt Elsa Koch in Germany during the Soviet era. And we are related to Hitler over some generations," said the captured invader.

At the end of the video, the Russian, as if to confirm his words, even raised his right hand in some sort of Nazi greeting.
