The Russian occupiers near Avdiivka can place their bets on new tactics. The reason for this was the huge enemy losses in this direction.

Last week, a video was published online showing an enemy kamikaze tank that allegedly managed to penetrate the industrial zone of Avdiivka. The General Staff clarified that it was an MTLB tractor. It ran over a mine and exploded.

However, in this regard, fears have arisen that the Russians may resort to such tactics — blowing up armored vehicles filled with explosives in Ukrainian positions. But the tactic probably won't work because of the minefields.

Military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Oleksandr Kovalenko explained that the occupiers adopted this tactic from ISIS. It was widely used in Syria and is not the first time it has been used in Ukraine.

“A conventional tank is filled with explosives and sent in a straight line. If we talk about attacking a specific position, then this is a really serious weapon. But in most cases they are destroyed on the way or they themselves explode on mines,” Kovalenko explained.
