Local Residents Report Explosions In Kalodzishchy

People's windows were shaking.

Residents of Kalodzishchy near Minsk heard the sounds of explosions on October 31. It was loud in the area of the radio center and fire station, local chat participants wrote, Zerkalo notes.

According to local residents, something “banged” and the sound was clearly audible near the radio center, which is closer to the north of the village. The “horrid sound” was also heard at the fire station — and this is the south of Kalodzishchy.

“It seemed to me that on the Aziaryshchy side, at least the windows on that side were shaking. Possibly a military academy,” wrote one local. A resident of Aziaryshchy replied that it was quiet there, but when “there was a bang on the railway, the chair jumped, the windows almost flew out,” but now it’s quiet. Another local said that the explosions were “heard amazingly clearly” at the KECh in Aziaryshchy — this is an apartment and operational unit in the area of the “Heroes of the 120th Division” stop.

The first sound of the explosion was heard at about 11.20, and later they continued — they were heard after 14.00. “We live on Verkhnyaya, the windows are rattling, the dogs are barking along the street and my cats are quiet,” wrote one of the locals. They claimed that the sounds of explosions could be heard even near the MOMO shopping center.

At the same time, one of the residents uploaded a video. On it, something similar to the echo of an explosion can be heard at the ninth second.

“Where does the sound come from, from the firing ground? I don’t remember this, although I have lived in this area since the times of the USSR. During the exercises in the 80s, it never sounded like this!” wrote another local.
