The pogromists broke into the airport building and the runway.
At least one Belarusian citizen was on board the flight from Tel Aviv to Makhachkala on 29 October. This information was reported by Details, which spoke to two passengers on the flight.
One of them sent the journalists a recording in which the attackers can be heard telling people to get off the bus. One of the attackers swears at the passengers and shouts: "What are you doing to Palestine, you fucking bastards!". In response, people shout that they are from Russia, that they are Russians. And one shouted that he had a Belarusian passport.
The name of this passenger is not yet known, nor is it known whether he was the only one on board.
As previously reported, on the evening of 29 October in Makhachkala, Dagestanis arrived at the airport with Palestinian flags and were "looking for Jews" on a flight from Tel Aviv. They stormed into the airport building and onto the runway.
Special forces were sent to the scene. Twenty people were injured in the protests, including police and civilians. Two of the injured were in serious condition, one of the police officers later died.
