Russian soldiers have been defeated and are "fleeing to the east". The Russian command is trying unsuccessfully to restore the situation.

Oleksiy Arestovych, an adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office, said this in a conversation with Russian human rights activist and blogger Mark Feygin.

"Such a trouble has happened to them that they have fled to the east. The Russian command is trying to restore the situation, moving reserves, but there are a lot of surprises waiting for them there. Some are already in captivity, drinking tea. Another part will never drink tea again," the advisor said.

He also noted that other "surprises" await the Russians.

"This is not the only place (which cannot be named yet) where surprises are happening," Arestovych added.
