He stressed that among all the leaders of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, he is "the main long-liver".
Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, recorded a video message where he said that he was going on an "indefinite and long vacation", writes unian.net.
In particular, he stressed that he was "a long-liver who has been leading the Republic of Chechnya for 15 years".
"I'm back with the phone, don. That's how we do things. I was told that I have been leading the Republic for 15 years. We, Caucasians, Chechens, have a proverb "no matter how respected, long-awaited the guest is, if he leaves on time, then it's nice." So I think my time has come too. I won't wait until I get kicked out. I think I'm already old. Once I was young, inexperienced. And now I am just as inexperienced, but my youth has gone somewhere,” Kadyrov said.
He added that he hoped that the Chechens would take his decision with understanding. Kadyrov also stressed that among all the leaders of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, he is "the main long-liver".
