Ukrainian Military Destroy Enemy Pontoon Crossing Across Dnieper Near Kherson

More than 200 occupants have been liquidated in the southern direction.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military destroyed 201 Russian invaders, 12 T-72 tanks and 18 units of armoured vehicles, as well as six ammunition depots in the southern direction.

On Wednesday, August 31, a pontoon crossing built by Russian invaders near Daryivka, Kherson region, was destroyed by AFU units.

This was reported by the South Operational Command on the night of September 1.

Over the course of the day, AFU aviation carried out 24 strikes against the places of concentration of the enemy, their forces and equipment, command and support points, logistics centres, transport routes, and combat positions.

Rocket and artillery units carried out strikes against enemy unmanned aerial vehicle control points, electronic warfare stations, multiple rocket launchers and air defence facilities.

"Keeping the Kakhovka and Daryivka bridges under tight fire control ruled out their use by the enemy for pulling in equipment and ammunition. The hits are effective and the damage is substantial. The pontoon crossing established by the occupants in the vicinity of Daryivka has been destroyed," the report says.

Enemy casualties amount to:

201 military;

12 T-72 tanks;

18 units of armoured vehicles;

1 Solntsepek flamethrower system;

1 Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system;

5 Msta-B howitzers;

1 Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer;

2 self-propelled artillery pieces;

3 mobile mortars.

In addition, six enemy ammunition depots in Beryslav, Genichesk and Kherson districts, as well as command posts of the 331st Paratrooper Regiment and the 56th Airborne Assault Regiment, were liquidated.
