This tactic allows one to knock out the enemy with minimal losses for their own army.
During the counteroffensive in the south, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are using the tactics of the NATO countries, which consists in the gradual liberation of the territories occupied by the invaders with minimal losses. This tactic involves the creation of prerequisites for the liberation of one or another settlement, after which a local offensive operation is carried out.
This was told by military expert Dmytro Snehirev, writes TSN. He also noted how many settlements the Ukrainian army had already managed to liberate in the Kherson region.
“Thus, more than 50 settlements have already been liberated on the territory of the Kherson region, with minimal losses,” the expert said.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also resort to Russian tactics — they take control of the logistical routes of Russian invaders.
“This is a situation when the supply routes of ammunition, fuel and lubricants are blocked, the possibility of taking out the wounded and carrying out rotation is eliminated. The Russians used this tactic during the battles for Lysychansk and Severodonetsk. A similar situation was created by the Armed Forces of Ukraine today on the right bank of the Dnieper,” explains Snehirev.
The Russian grouping, which is now located on the right bank of the Dnieper, has faced the threat of a tactical encirclement and is cut off from the rear supply bases.
“A simple choice is to surrender, cross the Dnieper by swimming, or try to push the Armed Forces of Ukraine to a distance that does not allow the logistic component to be under fire control,” the expert says.
