Ukrainian Troops Break Through Front Line At Several Sections, Developing Offensive Deeper

Operational success in Kherson region was achieved in a few hours.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces succeeded in breaking through the frontline in several areas in Kherson Oblast in just a couple of hours on August 29. Our soldiers are actively developing the offensive.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a statement by Oleksiy Arestovych, advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine, on the air of the Feygin Live YouTube channel.

"The AFU has gone on a nice little offensive, at least that's what it looks like right now. They have broken through the front line in several areas, they are developing their offensive further down," the official said.

At the same time, Arestovych noted that the Ukrainian military have cut off or nearly cut off supplies across bridges and destroyed ferry crossings.

"An hour ago, a ferry crossing along with the equipment was very brightly blown up. That is, we are suppressing their attempts to secure their groups on the right bank (of the Dnieper - ed.). Combat operations are under way," the advisor added.

We remind you that the Ukrainian military started fighting for Kherson on August 29. The Russians abandoned their positions on the first line of defence.

It also became known that yesterday the Ukrainian Armed Forces recaptured four villages in the south from the Russian occupation.
