The dictator had to recall his ambassador from London to appoint a deputy head of his administration.
Lukashenka has officially appointed Dmitry Krutoy ambassador of Belarus to Russia. It was previously reported that his candidacy had been agreed with Vladimir Putin.
According to Lukashenka's press service, Krutoy will also become a plenipotentiary representative to the Economic Council of the CIS, as well as a special representative on integration cooperation within the Union States, EEU, CIS and CSTO.
Dmitry Krutoy will be replaced by Maksim Yermolovich as deputy head of Lukashenka's administration. He used to be Minister of Finance and later Ambassador of Belarus to the United Kingdom.
However, the Foreign Ministry has recently announced about downgrading a diplomatic representative to an ambassador. As a result, Maksim Yermolovich returns to Minsk.
