Russian Army May Find Itself Encircled In Kherson Within Month

The AFU is controlling strategically important transport routes in the region.
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian armed forces have not only destroyed the Antonivka bridge, but also destroyed four observation posts along the front line and struck a railway bridge in Kherson Region.
This means that the group of Russian troops is finally cut off from supplies of both weapons and equipment, due to which it is very real that in the future it might find itself surrounded by the Ukrainian armed forces, Novyny.LIVE reports.
THE ARMED FORCES HAVE FULL FIRE CONTROL IN THE REGION
Kherson Regional Council deputy and advisor to the head of the regional military administration Sergei Khlan said on a nationwide TV marathon that the hit on the strategically important Antonivka bridge on Tuesday evening, July 26, could be heard throughout Kherson.

This bridge was used by the occupiers to deliver weapons, equipment and even food to both the city and the right bank of the Dnieper River. Now they do not have such an opportunity, as the Ukrainian armed forces have damaged not only the Antonivka road bridge, but also the Antonivka railway bridge, 6 km downstream of the Dnieper River. Only one bridge remains in Nova Kakhovka, which connects the two banks of the Dnieper and is still being used by the occupants.

"The occupiers say they will set up a pontoon crossing over the Dnieper. But it is from the category of "fools are fain of nothing". It is impossible because of the riverbed and the flow of the river. Now the AFU has full fire control in the region, and this is the most important thing that has happened this week. The President has already stated that in the next three weeks the Ukrainian armed forces will start liberating Kherson region and destroying all the occupants' plans for all kinds of referendums," Khlan noted.
The day after the Antonivka bridge was destroyed, eyewitnesses began to report a large amount of Russian equipment moving towards Henichesk. At least 40 vehicles were spotted.
"The aim of the occupiers is not yet clear. The Russians are settling in local recreation centres. Let them settle - they have already done it once in Skadovsk and Lazurny, and the HIMARS flew in there in a very accurate manner. There are already reports of defections," - Khlan added.
EITHER CAPTIVITY OR TOTAL DESTRUCTION AWAITS THE RUSSIANS
Military expert Aleksandr Kovalenko confirmed to Novyni.LIVE that the destruction of the Antonivka bridge cuts off completely the transportation of cargo and ammunition to Russian troops. This means that it will become impossible for them to withdraw forces and hardware to the right bank of the Dnieper River.
"If the AFU cuts off the supplies to the occupiers, which are weapons, fuel and lubricants and even food, the Russians in Kherson region will be able to hold out for 3-4 weeks. They will start losing their positions regularly and retreating closer and closer to Kherson. As a result, they will find themselves blocked and closed. After all, the Dnieper is there, which they will not be able to cross. There will be nowhere to retreat to. Therefore, they will either have to surrender or they will be completely destroyed," Kovalenko assured.
We remind you that the head of the joint press centre of the Defence Forces of southern Ukraine, Natalia Humenyuk, stressed that the Defence Forces were keeping strategically important logistical and transport routes of the Russian invaders in Kherson Region under fire control to prevent them from resupplying.
