Belarusian Ministry Of Defense Purchases 1,000 Body Bags

The Ministry of Defense communicated with several producers.

The Flagshtok Telegram channel got some documents indicating that the Ministry of Defense of Belarus is studying price proposals for the purchase of 1000 "packages for transporting the bodies of the dead". The request for documentation was sent to at least two organizations: BelSudExpertObespechenie RUE and to the company providing funeral services, Fister LLC.

The private company Fister responded to a request from the Ministry of Defense that it does not sell body bags.

The state BelSudExpertObespechenie answered that it could produce 1,000 body bags within 10 calendar days. The company is ready to satisfy the order for 9,900 - 13,900 rubles depending on the kind (with or without handles).

The journalists called the author of the answer, BelSudExpertObespechenie RUE Marketing Department Head Veranika Kavalchuk, to verify the veracity of the letter. She confirmed that she had given an answer to the Ministry of Defense about a thousand sanitary bags.
