According to the head of Luhansk Region, Serhiy Gaidai, the Russian military intensified the shelling of the town in the evening. At around 8 p.m., they hit a high-rise building, killing two children.

State Emergencies Service officers carried out a rescue operation in the multi-storey building. They found three dead, two of them children.

"The enemy does not stop and continues to target civilians stubbornly. Today once again the world learns that the so-called 'Russian World' is the death of small children," he stressed.

A total of five residential buildings in Kremennaya and three in Rubizhne also caught fire as a result of the occupiers' attacks.

The head of Luhansk Region added that the occupants continued to destroy infrastructure facilities. In recent days, the Russian military has been increasingly active in hitting enterprises, and doing it almost unmistakably.

In particular, Serhiy Gaidai reported that an enterprise and an educational establishment in Rubizhne had caught fire from the occupiers' shelling. Rescuers also continue to extinguish the fire at an oil refinery in Lisichansk.

He therefore asked local residents to be vigilant. If they see someone who looks like a gunner or a spotter, let them immediately inform law enforcers or the military.
