Mazyr Refinery Partially Shut Down

The refinery is operating at "reduced load".
Vital Paulau, general director of the Mazyr oil refinery, has reported that the refinery is working "at a reduced load," and some units have been taken out of the technological process "for scheduled overhaul," Flagstaff informs.
Flagstaff had previously reported that production had been suspended in connection with the repairs. But it seems that the repairs were only a reason to reduce production.
According to the available tender documents, the repairs were planned as early as 2021. But the stoppage of production took place right after the start of Russia's war against Ukraine (the tender was announced on February 28, 2022).
According to available statistics for 2020, Homel Region supplied USD 238 million worth of oil products to Ukraine (6.3% of the region's exports). Now the Ukrainian market is completely lost to the Mazyr oil producers.
