They have stolen everything they could hold in their hands.
Russian occupants have damaged and robbed the Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Popov's Estate" in Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine. Anna Golovko, director of the museum, reported this on Facebook on March 13.
"The museum-preserve "Popov's Estate" has just been robbed by the occupiers. Everything that can be picked up in hands and bags was taken out. The office equipment was smashed and trampled by feet. All doors were broken down and all the windows were smashed. Everything in the way was destroyed," reads the statement.
The fact of the robbery was confirmed by the director of the Department of Culture, Tourism, Nationalities and Religions of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Vladyslav Moroko. He said, in particular, that the Russian occupants had stolen a marble toilet bowl from the museum.
"I don't know why they needed it. But today the orcs, looting Popov's Estate with saws and a screwdriver, have also stolen a marble toilet bowl from the time of the Counts Popovs. What is remarkable is that the first time this toilet bowl was stolen by the Bolsheviks. Subsequently, one of the thieves' descendants returned the artifact to the museum. And now, once again, the newest invaders have stolen the ill-fated toilet bowl," Moroko said.
