The population of Belarus is categorically against the war with Ukraine.
Belarusian dictator Aliaksandr Lukashenka is afraid to go to war against Ukraine, and in Belarus itself there are a maximum of 10 thousand combat-ready units, Vadym Denisenko, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, said during a telethon, nv.ua reports.
“Apparently, Lukashenka is very afraid of the start of such hostilities, he understands that his time as the ruler of Belarus will essentially be over since that moment,” he said.
According to him, Belarus has a small army.
“Belarus has a small army, there are only 40,000 people. According to various estimates, there are 5-8, a maximum of 10 thousand combat-ready units. Throwing this army here now, under these conditions, means receiving several thousand coffins. The population of Belarus is categorically against such adventures,” Denisenko said.
