Singer Sofia Rotaru: I Stay in Kyiv and Pray for Our Defenders

The popular Ukrainian performer in Russia supported the AFU.

Ukrainian singer Sofia Rotaru reacted to the bloody events in Ukraine. She condemned the war that Putin unleashed in Ukraine.

Rotaru's reaction appeared on Instagram.

"Independence and Freedom cost a lot. It's true, but is it worth it to have Russian missiles destroying civilians, children and cities in Ukraine? These facts tear my heart to pieces! I am in Kyiv! I pray for our defenders and peace in Ukraine," stated Rotaru.

The singer notes that her hands were shaking while texting because of the severe battles in Ukraine.
