The situation of the occupant grouping is worsening.
The situation near Bakhmut, where the Russian army is stubbornly trying to break through the front, remains very difficult. In order to weaken the enemy, the AFU has started actively working on its rear, smashing bases and warehouses.
This information was shared by Ukrainian military correspondent Bogdan Miroshnikov on his Telegram channel.
"The AFU has firmly taken on the operational rear of the enemy's Bakhmut grouping. In the long term, the situation will significantly worsen for the Orcs," the journalist said.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces, meanwhile, are holding the frontline, not allowing the enemy to advance.
According to Miroshnikov, the heaviest battles in this direction are taking place near Opytne, Kurdyumivka, Kleshchivka, as well as in the direction of Dalyivka.
"The enemy continues strong pressure on the eastern bank of Bakhmutka and was able to advance a little into the private sector. In other places, the occupant has been stopped, the artillery is working non-stop on all sides," the war correspondent said.
It should be noted that the Bakhmut direction is hardly the only section of the front where the Russian army has retained its combat potential.
The backbone of the occupation group there is the Wagner PMC, or, more precisely, a huge number of Russian conscripts recruited by this organization.
