"Lida Beer" published on its website an official appeal in support of peaceful protests, and also said that it continues to work to provide citizens with "vital drinks" - in particular, water.

Here is the text of the appeal.

"Lida Beer is concerned about the events taking place in Belarus. The campaign expresses solidarity with the citizens, seeking to resolve the contradictions in the Belarusian society by peaceful means.

"One of the principles of Olvi Group in all countries where the concern is represented is non-interference in politics. This principle is enshrined in the Group's Code. At the same time, the Code is based on the inviolable principle of respect for human rights. That is why we stand in solidarity with every peaceful Belarusian who openly declares his civic position, asks to stop violence and return to the legal field.

The company's production works on a permanent basis to provide residents with vital drinks (in particular, drinking water). For the time being, we have suspended advertising and image projects. We will return to communication if the issue of respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms is not so acutely on the agenda.

We sincerely believe that open dialogue and synergy of efforts of all state institutions will provide an opportunity to help the victims and overcome the social crisis".
