As people walked from the Stella to Independence Square in Minsk, clergymen from the church came out to them and greeted them with a gesture of victory. This was reported by the telegram-channel "Do you see the elections?"

In the cathedral, bells were ringing non-stop. On Lenin street, all sidewalks were filled.
