An elderly woman crossed Independence Avenue near TSUM right above the underground passage. The incident got caught in the lens of a video recorder, tut.by writes.

The recording shows a woman with a cart crossing an eight-lane avenue with heavy traffic without looking around. The drivers warn the other participants of the danger as much as they can and stop in time. As a result, everything ends well - the woman reaches the other side of the avenue.

We will not talk about why elderly pedestrians in violation of the rules cross the eight-lane roadway rather than use the underpass: it can be physically difficult for an elderly person or a disabled person to go down under the ground.
