Alivaria Minsk Has New General Manager

The oldest Minsk brewery, member of the Carlsberg Group, replaced the General Manager today.

Ukrainian Oleh Khaydakin came to replace Russian Denis Sherstennikov. The company revealed the background of this top manager to tut.by.

Russian Denis Sherstennikov ran the company for four years and now moved to the post of CEO of Carlsberg Bulgaria. Since september 1, his position at Alivaria was taken by Ukrainian Oleh Khaydakin, who previously worked as Vice President of Sales Carlsberg Ukraine.

The appointments correspond to Carlsberg Group's policy of rotating personnel and developing talents within the organization, the company noted.

Oleh Khaydakin was born on January 29, 1970 in Ukraine. In 1991 he graduated from the Donetsk Higher Military Political School with a degree in sociology and psychology. Later he received a professional management certificate in Open University (England).

His career began in 1996 with the position of sales representative of Japan Tobacco International. Then he worked as a supervisor, a key account manager, a regional sales manager for this company. From 2004 to 2010, Oleh Khaydakin held a number of positions in sales and marketing services at Imperial Tobacco Group in various CIS countries. Since 2010, he has managed the company's business in the markets of Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova. In 2015, he became Vice President of Sales Carlsberg Ukraine. He is married and has four sons.

Important to note, Lithuanian Audrius Mikshis manages another large Belarusian brewing company — Lida Beer.
