The dictator, according to the head of his administration, played the key role in the realization of the national demographic security program.

Aliaksandr Kasinets stated this in his interview in program Kontury broadcast on TV channel ONT on January 3.

“Almost every minute this program was in the attention of Lukashenka. Twelve times I reported to him on the progress and results of its realization. So, speaking about the key figure, I actually named him,” – Kasinets said.

According to the official Lukashenka instructed the government to develop this program in 2000, but the government did so only in 2005-2006. USD 350 million was allocated to the program realization.

Kasinets noted that according to pessimistic forecasts only 8.5 million people should have left in Belarus in 2015. However, due to the demographic security program the country's population today is 9.5 million, which is 1 million more than in the forecast.
