Batura threatens to Polish goods?

Barys Batura, the chair of the Minsk region executive committee, thinks recalling EU ambassadors from Minsk was a rash decision.

“A decision on recalling was taken by the European Union, but according to diplomatic rules, it is the right of a separate country. I think the EU got into a trouble rather difficult to be overcome. But the EU will cope with it,” Batura said at a press conference in Minsk on Monday, Interfax-Zapad news agency reports.

“This is a rash decision,” Batura thinks. The governor called on the EU governments to think about interests of their people and turn attention in particular to the export of Polish goods to Belarus.
