Belarusian authorities sell tanks to Vietnam

Vietnam buys arms in Belarus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Belarus Dang Huy Tran said in Minsk at a press conference.

“It’s not a secret. We buy your military hardware, in particular, tanks, spare parts for military transport, radar equipment,” Interfax quotes the Vietnamese ambassador.

He noted that an agreement allowing Vietnamese officers to get education in Belarus had been signed during the recent visit of Belarusian defence minister Leanid Maltsau to Vietnam.

The ambassador reminded that the ministries of defence of Vietnam and Belarus signed an agreement on training high technology personnel.
