The leader of the United Civil party Anatol Lyabedzka and his assistant Valyantsina Palevikova have written a protest to the book of complaints and suggestions of Minsk city executive committee related to the fact that in fact a state of emergency was imposed in Minsk near Yakub Kolas Square on the order of city authorities, and rights of hundreds of the capital citizens had been violated.
In particular, people couldn’t use metro station in Yakub Kolas square for several hours, to enter many shops that are situated in this location. A great number of special cars and law enforcers stayed in yards of buildings, and that entailed inconvenience on thousands of Minks dwellers.
Valyantsina Palevikova urges to influence the city authorities in this way, and invites to support this initiative.
“Find half an hour of leisure time and contact the city administration via the book of complaints and suggestions. Actually, Minsk is not an inherited estate of Paulau and other city bureaucrats. City authorities are also accountable for the evens on March 25 in Minsk,” Palevikova believes.
